Save the Date for the BCN meeting on APS Redistricting & Restructuring, which includes Jackson, Brandon, and Smith elementary schools.
BCN will host an APS District 4 and At-Large School Board Candidate discussion:
Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6:45-8:15 pm
@ the Piedmont Center Auditorium
(Building 14, 3535 Piedmont Rd, NE
(Ample parking and easy access)
- There will be a discussion with School Board Candidates for District 4 and At-Large District 8. The candidates will discuss critical issues affecting the North Atlanta Cluster.
- Redistricting of our elementary schools
- Restructuring of Sutton Middle School
- The rapid increase in enrollment at North Atlanta High School
- The proposed closing and restructuring of Jackson Elementary, Morris Brandon Elementary & Primary, and Sara Smith Elementary
This restructuring will impact all Buckhead residents. Our schools are not only central to our children’s education, but they also influence the character of our neighborhoods, property values, traffic patterns, and commutes. A strong school system is essential to attracting new families and supporting Atlanta’s continued growth.
