The Peachtree Battle Alliance only exists thanks to neighbors like you who love where they live and have volunteered their time & skills. There are always opportunities for volunteers in roles both big and small and every investment counts! If you want to get involved to meet your neighbors, have experience in areas that could benefit us all, or have an idea that would make PBA an even better place to live, you've come to the right place, and we need you!
Choose from current volunteer opportunities or indicate an area of interest:
- Block Captains - Our neighborhood is divided into 40 blocks, and each has a BC. These volunteers are the eyes and ears of PBA, welcoming new neighbors, relaying information to members, helping neighbors look out for each other. If you have a dog or walk regularly and talk with your neighbors, you are already doing much of the BC work!
- Communications - Do you enjoy writing? Are you an effective communicator? Whether it's an article for our newsletter, a post for social media or an email campaign, there are opportunities for written communication. Similarly, if you are savvy with photography, graphic design or website management, we need your talents!
- Social Planning - In addition to two annual events (Spring Cocktail Party and Fall Family Party) we host activities throughout the year. From scavenger hunts, decorating contests, food truck gatherings and more, we are always looking for fun ideas to connect neighbors.
- Sponsorships - There are often special projects for which PBA raises funds or seeks in-kind donations. In the hospitality industry? We always welcome support for social events. Have an automotive connection? Consider assisting with operations for the patrol car. How about landscaping, architectural design or access to a plant nursery? PBA green spaces are calling your name! If your company is interested in sponsorship opportunities, please let us know. And if you are willing to help PBA connect with these local businesses, fundraising support is always needed.
