Georgia House Bill 1166 (HB 1166) is a recent housing/zoning bill (2025–2026 legislative session) focused on allowing small “tiny homes” or accessory dwelling units (ADUs) across the state. ???? Core idea HB 1166 would limit local governments’ ability to block very small residential units (400 sq ft or less).
