| Description: | FEBRUARY IS LOVE YOUR PARK MONTH
Park Pride, the City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation, Hands On Atlanta & Trees Atlanta, along with community partners, nonprofits, conservancies, and Friends of the Park groups, host volunteer days that engage residents in hands-on projects to help care for, beautify, and strengthen Atlanta’s parks. Let’s show our parks some love all month long!
Atlanta Memorial Park | 9 am – 12 pm on Saturday, February 28th.
Help promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in Atlanta Memorial Park! Volunteers will help remove invasive plants from a densely wooded area off-trail. Your work will improve the habitat for humans who use the greenspace for recreation and wildlife that call it home.
