With sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of PBA patrol and APD Lieutenant Zach Kramer.  Officer Kramer joined PBA in early 2022 and was a diligent patrol for our neighborhood, covering evening and early morning hours.  He was a great addition to the neighborhood's security efforts and was especially noted for his enthusiasm and communication with residents.  Lieutenant Kramer, 41, passed away from natural causes at his home in Buford and leaves behind a wife, Mandy, and four small children. 

 

For those who wish to support their family during this difficult time, PBA has been informed that a Go Fund Me page has been established.  Alternatively, donations may be made to the Atlanta Police Foundation.
