On behalf of the E. Rivers PTA, I’m reaching out to share our calendar of upcoming school events that may result in increased traffic in the neighborhood. We value our neighbors and want to be proactive in minimizing disruption to your homes and driveways.
 
The following events typically bring more foot and vehicle traffic to the area:

• Open House – Aug 1 9a-11a
• Curriculum Night – August 19
• Fall Picnic – September 19
• Field Day – October 10
• International Dinner – October 23
• Veterans Day Program – November 11
• Holiday Performance – December 5
• Bingo Night – January 30
• Talent Show – March 6
• Evening of the Arts – March 31
• Spring Picnic – April 24
• Fun Run – May 15

 
In response to past concerns about blocked driveways, the PTA has created signage that will be placed at the driveways of homes closest to the school in advance of high-traffic events. These signs serve as a reminder to visiting families not to block residential access, and we hope they will help reduce disruptions and prevent further frustration.
