It is with a dip in the temperatures and the clear, clean, crispness in the air that I write this February letter to you. When I first moved to Atlanta from Texas, I noticed immediately how blue the skies were here. They seem to remain the perfect representation of clear blue that almost beckons you to swim in. The cotton candy sunsets have brought me out of the house to be gobbled up before the final setting of the sun. One of the many locations you can enjoy watching both the sunrise and sunset is on the path that encircles the Bobby Jones Golf course.  It’s worth “timing” your walks to take in the views. February is the month of LOVE, and I do love so many things about our Peachtree Battle neighborhood. I love that my neighbors with children get to hang out and play baseball in the street or see the introduction of riding a bicycle as a parent holds tightly to the seat. I love seeing the Blue Heron who sits gallantly in Peachtree Creek as we witness his majesty and beauty while he basks in the sun. (I have included a photo below for my Heron I named "Harry"). I love that we have rallied together to support the very best option for the connection of the Beltline and continue to protect our wildlife and its habitats fiercely and with the intensity of a mother protecting a child. I love the impromptu gatherings and entanglements of our dogs rushing to play with each other and forcing our grip to let go.
