January 30, 2026 Dear Neighbor,
We hope this note finds you well and enjoying life in Haynes Manor. Our neighborhood is special because of the people who live here, and as the Peachtree Battle Alliance (PBA) Board, we are grateful for the shared commitment that keeps our community safe, welcoming, and beautiful.
You are likely aware that the
2026 PBA Membership Drive is underway and will conclude at the end of February. If you haven't already joined or renewed, please submit your membership payment to support our neighborhood and show your dedication to keeping it
green, clean, safe, and connected.
Where Your Membership Dues Go:
Your membership support directly helps preserve the quality of life we all value. We are also pleased to share that PBA stayed within its approved 2025 budget, reflecting careful stewardship of neighborhood resources.
Here’s how dues are thoughtfully allocated:
Safety and Private Patrol (60% of budget)
- Funding and oversight of contracted patrol staff that helps keep our neighborhood safe.
- Vehicle maintenance, insurance, and fuel.
Maintenance and Landscaping (20% of budget)
- Weekly maintenance of Betty Young Park & Sam T. Roberts Memorial Park.
- Tree trimming and removal, irrigation, turf & plant care, and additional seasonal plantings and materials (pine straw, mulch) that enhance the character of our streets, shared green spaces and parks.
Neighborhood Events and Administration (15% of budget)
- Community events that help PBA members connect and develop lasting relationships within the community.
- Essential operating costs, including insurance, professional services & platforms, marketing materials, signage, etc.
Long-Term Planning/Coordination/Governance/Advocacy/Outreach (5% of budget)
Ongoing collaboration with partner organizations such as:
Working with the City of Atlanta on traffic and pedestrian safety, sidewalks, road repairs, watershed issues, public works items, park improvements, and public safety through:
- Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU-C) & Zoning
- Atlanta City Council - Office of Councilwoman Mary Norwood
- City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation
- City of Atlanta Office of the Ombudsman / Neighborhood Relations Manager
- Atlanta Police Department

- Various other City of Atlanta Departments
Remember,
PBA is run entirely by volunteers, from the
Board of Directors to
Block Captains to the numerous
volunteers who assist with the membership drive, social events, and green space-related special projects throughout the year.
Membership Dues for 2026: $500 (same as 2025)These dues allow PBA to meet current commitments while continuing to invest in safety, thoughtful planning, and the care of our shared green spaces.
Thank You for Your Support. We truly appreciate your continued participation and trust. Your support makes a meaningful difference in sustaining the neighborhood we all call home. If you have questions or would like more information,
