Headline: Proposed Development at 350 W. Wesley (Dellwood Proximate Impact)
PBA is committed to engaging with
PowerBuild regarding the proposed
11-acre development at
350 W. Wesley Road to protect our neighborhood’s interests, promote constructive dialogue, and ensure transparency in interactions among the City, private entities, and residents. Our proactive stance is to identify challenges early and craft efficient, mutually beneficial resolutions.
4.1.25 - NPU-C Meeting
PowerBuild presented a tentative site plan for the development at the monthly
NPU-C meeting. However, due to various issues that could not be addressed at the meeting, PowerBuild is slated to present again at the
May 6, 2025 NPU-C meeting.
4.2.25 - PBA Outreach
PBA has invited PowerBuild to host an interim information and presentation session(s) for the Dellwood proximate neighbors to facilitate a productive outcome. This would provide an opportunity to address concerns and refine plans ahead of the May NPU-C meeting. Through discussions with residents, we’ve identified the following primary issues:
- Watershed and Drainage: Clarity on runoff management and infrastructure impacts.
- Retaining walls and slope stability: Ensure structural integrity and minimal disruption.
- Tree Clearing and Green Space: Plans to preserve Buckhead’s natural character.
- Buffer Zones and Privacy: Safeguards for adjacent properties’ seclusion.
- Character and Aesthetics: Alignment with the neighborhood’s high standards.
- Construction Noise, Disruption, and Timeline: Mitigation strategies and a clear schedule.
The graphic below provides a snapshot of the lot lines for the 350 West Wesley property and the adjacent Dellwood lots.
PBA Leadership tasked with managing the 350 W. Wesley development impact, collaboration, and outreach are:
Tom Comartie - PBA Vice President
