HEADLINE: Sam T. Roberts Park - 2nd Session - Invasive Species Removal Volunteer Sessions

Headline: Trees Atlanta & PBA Invasive Species, Native Planting work sessions at Sam T. Roberts Park Starting March 1, 2025 Trees Atlanta will host three volunteer projects at
Sam T. Roberts Memorial Park (formerly Haynes Manor Park) at the corners of Peachtree Battle @ Northside Drive, along the connecting footpath to Sagamore Drive @ Northside Drive—the mission to restore and conserve the forested areas by
removing invasive species and planting native.
Volunteers will gather for the second work session on
Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Walk to the park or park in the
Ahavath Achim Synagogue parking lot off Northside Drive.
The map reflects the park's "zones." Zone 1 was addressed in the first work session. Sessions 2, 3 will move into zones 2, 3, and 4. Zone 5 is somewhat steep and will likely not be accessed by specific Trees Atlanta volunteers.
