Election of Directors:

Board members are elected in terms of three years and can serve two consecutive terms in addition to any partial term to which a board member is elected. The board is divided into three classes, two of whose term expires this year. You have authorized a board of 25 members. Norman DuPre has served as PBA Treasurer and on the parks committee and will be stepping down after fulfilling two consecutive terms. Anna Mayeske, whose term expired in 2022, has resigned from the board. Kirk Rankin, whose term would have expired at the 2023 Annual meeting, has moved out of the neighborhood and can no longer serve the board. Roy Rumph is stepping down after completing his first term. Susan Clark, whose second term would have expired in 2024, is moving residences and has resigned from the board (effective November 1, 2022). Accordingly, there are five vacancies on the Peachtree Battle Alliance Board of Directors.

PBA is seeking (2) new board members who will fill the single remaining unexpired terms in 2023 and 2024. PBA is seeking (4) new board members to serve first-year terms.

Election of New Members:

For the first term ending in the 2024 Annual Meeting, the board proposes that the membership elect Kendra Adams and Tom Cromartie as Board Members.

Kendra lives in Lower Sagamore HMP. Kendra and husband, Jeff, are new empty nesters and have been PBA members for eight years. Kendra has worked as an interior designer for the past twenty-five years. She most recently completed a multi-year/multi-phase $3m+ renovation of the Tri Delta House at The Ohio State University (her alma mater) where she served as project interior designer, project manager and as a Capital Campaign Co-Chair. Over the past year Kendra has served on the PBA social committee and has led PBA communications and social media.

Tom is Senior Managing Director with Jones Lang LaSalle's Industrial Brokerage Team based out of Atlanta. Tom holds an MBA with a concentration in real estate from Georgia State University. Previously Tom served in a volunteer capacity as treasurer for an organization that sponsored and helped to pass a $100m bond referendum to fund the acquisition of greenspace in Forsyth County. Tom has been an active member of Buckhead Rotary Club (2009-2020) where he served as Sergeant at Arms and was responsible for candidate selection for the Otis Jackson Scholarship at Oglethorpe University. Tom & his family (wife, Alyson and three children: Mackenzie, Thomas and Hazel) live in upper Woodward Way 2.

We hope you are able to join PBA in person or on Zoom as we wrap up 2022 and look to an exciting 2023.

All the best,
Peachtree Battle Alliance
