Haynes Manor Garden Club & the CHOA Mailbox Brigade
Posted on Jan 2nd, 2022

PBA would like to recognize the Haynes Manor Garden club for its dedication to the annual CHOA Holiday Mailbox Brigade! This holiday tradition always marks the beginning of the holiday season when fresh greenery and red bows start to appear on mailboxes all over greater Atlanta. In 2021 more than seventy PBA mailboxes were decorated raising over $3500. Regionally, more than 5,500 mailboxes were graced with greenery raising over $280,000 for the crucial needs of the children and families who rely on the services and care of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
"Without neighborhood groups like Peachtree Battle Alliance, we would not have success through our Mailbox Brigade program for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  Each neighborhood involved is a key part the program’s success and long-standing tradition. We are so grateful for each neighborhood in our program and the generosity of our community to donate and volunteer their time to decorate," says Stephanie Vermilya, Program Coordinator/Events – CHOA.
