VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Saturday, December 1, 2018 (9 am – 12:00 pm): Join AMPC and Trees Atlanta green t-shirt volunteer and certified tree keeper, Aaron Bose, for our monthly volunteer day in the park from 9 am to noon. We are excited to announce that on this day we will be planting trees in the area where we have been removing invasive plants the last several months along the park’s edge.  Please wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed-toe shoes for the work day. Trees Atlanta will provide tools and gloves. Email info@atlmemorialpark.org to let us know that you can join us!

The ceremony will take place next to the former Bobby Jones clubhouse at 384 Woodward Way, Atlanta, 30305. Please note this is an outdoor event. Light refreshments will be served. Also be considerate of the surrounding neighbors by not parking along the narrowed section of Woodward Way.

Matzigkeit’s office, City of Atlanta – Department of Parks and Recreation, Springlake Civic Association – Landscape Committee, Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation (BJGCF), and HGOR for a Walk and Talk of the 101 GDOT Northside Drive tree planting plan.  We will meet at the intersection of McKinley Road and Northside Drive on the golf course side of the road. For more details on the history and other details of the upcoming planting plan, please click here.
