INTERSECTION OF PEACHTREE & PEACHTREE BATTLE: Major improvements to this intersection and the area surrounding E. Rivers School to more effectively manage traffic congestion and parking.

INTERSECTION OF NORTHSIDE & PEACHTREE BATTLE: Major improvements including the use of a roundabout to manage traffic flow and speed. In response to neighbor feedback, the engineering of this will pay attention to needs for pedestrian access through this intersection.

INTERSECTION OF DELLWOOD AND PEACHTREE BATTLE: Major improvements to this intersection including the use of a roundabout and Planted Median Islands to manage traffic flow and speeding and to allow safe pedestrian access.

PEACHTREE BATTLE (EAST END): The Plan calls for narrowing the travel lanes by widening the median and adding a sidewalk on the north side.

PEACHTREE BATTLE (WEST END): The Plan calls for the use of Planted Median Islands to slow traffic. In response to neighbor feedback, the number of islands has been lowered to retain a reasonable amount of on-street parking.

WEST WESLEY: The Plan calls for the use of Planted Median Islands to slow traffic.

NORTHSIDE DRIVE: The Plan calls for the replacement of the reversible lane with a two-way turning lane allowing turns at all intersections and Planted Median Islands to slow traffic.

DELLWOOD: Original plan called for Planted Median Islands at points the length of this street. In response to neighbor feedback, the Planted Median Islands will only be placed at the most northern portion of the street. No islands will be used on the south section of the street due to space concerns and the need to retain on-street parking.

MANOR RIDGE: In response to neighbor input, the plan now calls for only one Planted Median Island (or other device to be determined) to be placed at or near the top of the hill between Montview and Alton to slow traffic.  In addition, there will be mini-circles incorporated into the Montview and Alton intersections.

INTERSECTION OF HABERSHAM / RIVERS & PEACHTREE BATTLE: In response to neighbor input and design considerations, the Plan has been revised and now calls for Habersham Road to intersect with Peachtree Battle and for Rivers to intersect with Habersham.

HABERSHAM ROAD: In response to neighbor feedback, the revised plan calls for a limited number of planted median islands.

WOODWARD WAY: The plan calls for Planted Median Islands on the section of this street north of Peachtree Battle and Islands to be added to existing speed humps on the south side.

WESTOVER: In response to neighbor input, the Plan now calls for a lesser number Planted Median Islands to slow cut-through traffic.

MONTVIEW and HAVENRIDGE and BROOKDALE: The Plan calls for the use of Planted Median Islands.

ALTON: A Planted Median Island north of Peachtree Battle and a re-engineering of the intersection with Woodward Way.

SAGAMORE: Planted Median Islands to be added to existing speed humps and improvement of intersection with Peachtree Battle.

INTERSECTION OF NORTHSIDE DRIVE & WOODWARD WAY / SAGAMORE: In response to neighbor input, the Plan calls for significant improvements for pedestrian access and handling turning automobiles.  The proposed island will be designed so that westbound Woodward Way traffic will “tee” into Sagamore before turning onto Northside Drive, while Northside traffic turning onto Woodward Way will turn directly onto Woodward Way.

ROUNDABOUTS: The plan calls for roundabouts or mini-roundabouts at Peachtree Battle intersections with Montview, Woodward Way, and Nacoochee and at Whitmore intersections with Woodward Way, Montview, and Havenridge.
